UMC Hospital Visitor Guidelines for Patient Care and Comfort

Family and friends play an important role in a patient's recovery. At UMC Hospital, Nashik, we understand how important it is for family and friends to visit. To allow this, while also protecting our patients' recovery, we ask visitors to follow these guidelines:

  • Visitors can meet the patient only during approved visiting hours, and only with the visitor pass given at the time of admission
  • The doctor may limit visitors depending on the patient's medical condition
  • Attendant and Visitor passes are given at the time of admission. Please wear these passes while in the hospital. If a pass is lost, please contact the reception or help desk
  • Children under 12 years are not allowed on patient floors, to protect them from infection
  • Visitors are not allowed inside the operating theatre complex or critical care units. Any access to these areas needs prior approval from hospital authorities
  • Please sanitize your hands before and after visiting the patient
  • Please help keep the hospital premises clean
  • Please keep mobile phones on silent mode while in the hospital, so patients are not disturbed

At UMC Hospital, we understand the concerns of our patients' families and try our best to make them feel comfortable. For any queries or more information, please feel free to contact us.
